What are your day-to-day responsibilities at McCarthy Nordburg?

Most days consist of design production, finish selection and the occasional field verification.  

What drew you to McCarthy Nordburg?

While researching the company’s history, I was impressed with McCarthy Nordburg’s longstanding success in the field of design (30 years last month!). I was won over by the easy-going atmosphere and the opportunity to grow with such a well-established team.  

What trend in interior design or interior architecture is most interesting to you?

Coming from a background of kitchen and bath design, my favorite project is the creation of the built-in millwork.  

Which project has been your favorite to work on?

The project that I am most proud of is the first one I had a hand in from start to finish (SalesFirst). This was one of the first projects in which I select finishes and the client’s comment was, “you NAILED this!”  

What is your after-work hobby?

I live a very active lifestyle so I usually have a race or camping trip or sports tournament or something of the sort on the horizon. I am also involved in a number of different areas at my church, so that helps keep my calendar full.  

What is something that people wouldn’t guess about you when they first meet you?

While pursuing my minor in Spanish, I lived in Spain for six months y hablo espanol.
