Barrow's Neurological Institute at Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital is an internationally renowned medical center that offers care for people around the world with brain and spine diseases, disorders, and injuries. U.S. News & World Report routinely lists St. Joseph’s as one of the best hospitals in the nation for neurological and neurosurgical care. Devenney Group chose McCarthy Nordburg as their design partner to collaborate on the design enhancement of the new building's interior and select tenant spaces. It is a new five-story 110,600 SF medical office building for Barrow's Neurological Institute under construction now slated to be complete late summer 2021. It is a Design Build with Kitchell and The Devenney Group, built for Dignity Health Corporation. The main goal was to exude a “wow” factor with respect to design, finish materials, lighting, furniture, branding and details. This is achieved with a warm color palette and rich wood tones. The terrazzo floor pattern follows the curved building facade which connects the interior. Vertical design details entice your eyes upward to the two-story lobby that showcases a grand feature stair.
